Tina Bear is a minor and recurring character in BoJack Horseman. Her first appearance is in The Telescope, in Season 1.
Personality[]
While not much is known about Tina's character, she seems to deeply care about those she's looking after and is often sweet and compassionate towards them and their friends/family.
Physical Appearance[]
Tina is an adult female brown bear.
According to the model sheets, she is 6 ft tall.
She is shown wearing light blue hospital scrubs and white sneakers.

History[]
Tina was a live-in for Herb Kazzaz and later Beatrice Horseman. She appears to have a caring, almost maternal personality. She wears scrubs and likely has a nursing degree.
Season 1[]
In The Telescope, BoJack arrives at Herb's house with Diane. He is confronted by Herb, who appears very sickly. Herb throws barbed jokes about BoJack "stabbing [him] in the back" at an uncomfortable BoJack. Diane eases the tension, by getting the two to joke about common topics of interest. Herb also reveals, he actually had a good life after getting fired, he started a charity and even met the president.
As BoJack and Diane are about to leave, BoJack complains about the visit not feeling right. Seeking closure, BoJack returns to Herb's bedroom to apologize for the past. Herb accepts but does not forgive BoJack.
When BoJack says this will probably be the last time they'll see each other. Herb angrily says he's not giving BoJack closure. BoJack has to live with the shitty thing he did to him for the rest of his life. He recounts how he felt after his career fell apart, and expected everyone except BoJack to abandon him. He also states that was the difficult time in his life he really needed a friend and BoJack abandoned him, and will never forgive him for that. He then tells BoJack to, “get the fuck” out of his house. BoJack solemnly sighs with acceptance.
On his way out, BoJack picks up a telescope on his way out that Herb had given him on the exact day Herb told him Horsin' Around was being picked up. This sets off Herb—demanding BoJack leave the telescope, and when he refuses, the two get into a physical altercation. Diane then separates them.
Herb then begins to tell BoJack off again saying while he thinks of himself as the good guy, he's actually nothing but a selfish coward. Herb goes on to say BoJack takes what he wants and doesn't give a shit about who he hurts. BoJack says he doesn't know why he came here. Herb says, “Yes, you do," as his nurse, Tina Bear helps him back to his room. Diane and BoJack leave. However, they both forget to pick up Todd on the way out, who is unconscious on the lawn.
In Later, Tina is seen reading a book to Herb and he laughs.
Season 2[]
In Still Broken, Tina gives the eulogy at Herb's funeral, and Henry Winkler thanks her.
Season 4[]
In Thoughts and Prayers, after Beatrice is kicked out of her nursing home, Tina and Beatrice both move in with BoJack.
In Stupid Piece of Sh*t, Tina is seen wheeling Beatrice around and making eggs for Hollyhock and Beatrice. When BoJack throws Beatrice's "baby" off the edge, Tina is seen comforting Beatrice.
In lovin that cali lifestyle!!, BoJack, Hollyhock, Beatrice, and Tina playing UNO in the living room.
This is first seen through Hollyhock's point of view, and she appears to be dizzy. She has also lost a lot of weight, as her clothes are very loose, she keeps scratching herself and she is acting very anxious.
As BoJack boasts how he's winning, Hollyhock goes to get some water, only for the glass to slip from her hands due to her dizziness and break; giving her a cut on her forehead.
BoJack offers to help her out, but she tells him to wait as she heads upstairs to the bathroom.
Her dizziness gets even worse, as she stumbles into the bathroom, and tries to get a band-aid.
Just then, one of her fathers texts her to see how she's doing, and she hides the cut with her hair and sends him a reassuring selfie with the text "lovin that cali lifestyle!!" before collapsing.

Trivia[]
- Tina speaks with growls, however, some bears in the show can speak clear English.
- She does seem to understand everyone around her speaking English though.
